Job Title: Data Governance Consultant

  • The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of banking processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving ability is essential for this role.
  • The selected individual should be a self-starter with the ability to take initiatives and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in data management and governance concepts within the banking industry is preferred.
  • A background in data stewardship and working on business-as-usual data processes is also beneficial.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools and technologies such as Informatica DEQ, EDC, AXON etc. would be advantageous.
  • This role requires experience implementing data strategy roadmaps across organizations and facilitating data stewardship.
  • The successful candidate should have prior experience in the banking or financial services industry with a strong understanding of domain-specific data governance needs.
  • Responsibilities include working with business units to embed and adopt data standards and facilitating data stewardship.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting & Finance, or any related field is required. A Master's degree is highly valued.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data management within the banking & financial services industry is mandatory.
