The role of Operations Manager - Cloud Infrastructure is a pivotal position that oversees the overall operations and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability and availability of customer applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage staff to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, escalations, ticketing, and communications with customers.
- Supervise a 24x7 Tier1 Network Operation Centers (NOC) shift operations and personnel.
- Manage production incidents, outages, SLA, uptime, service availability, and root cause analysis.
- Generate key reports and metrics for management - System uptime, Service level agreements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of total experience with a minimum of 4 years of managing teams.
- Broad knowledge of Cloud Hosting technologies.
- 4 years of customer and end-user support experience.
- ITIL ITSM Certifications preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- PMP Prince Certification preferable.
About This Role:
You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the security, integrity, and confidentiality of all customer data, defining and maintaining the availability of the cloud environment, and taking an active role in Employee Performance Management and Capacity Planning.
