We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru. This role will be responsible for delivering a risk-based program of second-line compliance for MUFG's EMEA region. The successful candidate will support the Global Head Offices' assurance programs and conduct reviews of our banking and securities business in EMEA.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thematic and desk Tier 1 reviews of our London and EMEA business areas to provide assurance over compliance and conduct risks
  • Supporting the scoping of reviews and tracking, managing, and taking ownership of remediation of compliance issues
  • Providing regular management information for senior stakeholders and supporting Compliance Testing projects as directed
  • Identifying compliance and conduct risk topics and communicating industry updates to the team and senior management
  • Coaching, supporting, and training junior members of the team

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a compliance assurance and testing role in a European or US bank
  • Degree-level education and relevant industry qualifications, such as CISI certification
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, and excellent relationship management and time management skills

Salary Range: ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum
