About the Job

The Product Compliance Specialist will be responsible for reviewing product information and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes analyzing data sets, identifying patterns, and using various Amazon-specific tools and systems to classify products. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

In this role, you will work closely with your manager and process experts to address any deviations from standard procedures and seek guidance when necessary. You will also maintain detailed records of your assigned tasks and utilize standardized reports to prioritize your work, ensuring you meet quality, productivity, and service level agreement targets.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a similar field, with English B2+ proficiency in verbal and written communication. Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of database querying (SQL), and experience as a quality auditor in retail chain management or corporate roles are highly desirable.

About the Team

The Operational Risk Compliance (ORC) organization exists to keep customers and partners safe, protect associates, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance. We coordinate the aspects of product transactions that are regulated, including distribution, shipping, sale, and import/export. The Global Solutions and Risk Compliance (GSRC) team is the operational arm of the ORC organization, working to analyze product import documentation and flag hazardous risks. We also partner with worldwide program teams to classify products and ensure Amazon's product listings follow regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.
