As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality software solutions.

This is a key role in our team, requiring a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing various types of testing to ensure software quality, including integration testing, system interface testing, functional testing, regression and benchmarking testing.
  • Covering the end-to-end metrology solution workflow from acquiring measure data to producing thin film/OCD metrology solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with product, hardware, software, application, characterization teams in designing SQA testing strategies and plans.
  • Creating detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Planning, coordinating and executing testing activities to meet product release schedules and requirements.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation capabilities.
  • Developing, maintaining and improving testing suites/processes for feature testing, regression testing, release testing and benchmarking.
  • Documenting software defects and working closely with software teams in addressing them.
  • Tracking quality assurance metrics and identifying software quality gaps.
  • Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or a related discipline.
  • Possessing critical problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge in scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
