About Our Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled automation engineer to join our team. As an automation engineer, you will play a critical role in helping us unleash human energy through technology for an inclusive and sustainable future.

The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and automation testing, as well as hands-on experience with type-script automation tools like Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
  • Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.
  • Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.
  • Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.
  • Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.
  • Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Support manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools like Playwright, Taiko, or JavaScript based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium.
  • Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging.
  • Exposure to QA lifecycle tools like JIRA or equivalent.
  • Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.
  • Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.
