The Strategic Business Unit Head will spearhead the SBU's next phase of growth, driving overall business unit performance and profit responsibility. This role requires a proven track record in scaling operations within the cybersecurity or SaaS industry, with expertise in sales, business development, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:- P&L Ownership & Strategic Growth
- Lead the SBU with full P&L accountability, setting and executing a financial and strategic roadmap to deliver aggressive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term market leadership.
- Revenue Acceleration & Business Development
- Drive top-line growth by developing and executing high-impact sales strategies, securing enterprise-level partnerships, and expanding the unit's market share in the cybersecurity sector.
- Financial Performance & Profitability
- Oversee all financial aspects of the SBU, ensuring budget discipline, margin optimization, and sustainable bottom-line performance.
- Scalable Operations
- Build and optimize scalable processes, systems, and operational frameworks to support rapid growth, ensuring efficiency and alignment with financial objectives.
- Leadership for Performance
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a results-driven team with a strong commercial mindset, ensuring alignment to revenue and profitability targets.
- Board & Stakeholder Alignment
- Act as the primary liaison with the Board, investors, and key external stakeholders, providing transparent financial and strategic updates to ensure alignment on growth and value-creation goals.
- Market Growth & Positioning
- Strengthen the SBU's competitive positioning in the cybersecurity industry by identifying new revenue streams, exploring growth markets, and driving innovation to enhance financial performance.
- 15+ years of proven leadership with full P&L accountability, profitability management, and business development success.
- A strong background in cybersecurity, ideally within SaaS or tech-driven businesses.
- A track record of revenue growth through sales leadership, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
- Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and operational scaling in high-growth environments.
- A proven ability to build and lead high-performance teams with a strong commercial mindset.
- A visionary, collaborative leader, based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai, India.
