Vertical Transportation Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our vertical transportation business in India. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about driving growth, building relationships, and delivering exceptional results.

About the Role:

The Vertical Transportation Leader will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the Indian vertical transportation market, promoting our local profile, generating sales, and building strong relationships with customers and regulators. The role involves leading professional teams in strategic locations and delivering services in accordance with our management guidelines and quality management system.

  • Familiarize yourself with the customer, competitor, authority, and regulation VT landscape in India
  • Provide market input for updating and fine-tuning of the VT strategy for India
  • Develop business development strategies to implement growth targets
  • Promote us as a leading VT authority in India
  • Create and identify sales leads through networking, industry observation, and research
  • Manage customer relationships, understand their structure, needs, and constraints
  • Scale business through customer base extension and retention
  • Prepare sales presentations and materials
  • Coordinate with global VT experts for joint customer presentations and visits
  • Collaborate with other subsidiaries
  • Monitor upcoming events and prepare our participation

Operations and Resources:

The Vertical Transportation Leader will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations in accordance with our QMS and customer satisfaction. This includes P&L responsibility for our VT activities in India, preparing regular progress reports, planning and managing resources, recruiting, developing, and leading VT experts, and authorizing VT experts internally in accordance with our QMS.

Others:

Please note that this role requires a Bachelor Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical) and a Master degree would be beneficial, particularly a business-oriented one (MBA). Familiarity with lift technology and industry is also desirable, although further training will be provided by us.
