Job Title: Kidswear Merchandise Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our kidswear merchandise buying process. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sourcing high-quality products, negotiating with suppliers, and managing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a divisional buying and merchandising strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure timely deliveries, manage stock levels, and optimize product pricing.
  • Conduct market research to identify future product trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with designers on product development and design research trips.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best costs and margins.
  • Manage inventory, style options, quantities, promotions, and markdowns.
  • Maintain competitor analysis and trend forecasting.
  • Product presentation, packaging, and development of promotional plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandise buying, preferably in kidswear.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
