As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for leading the merchandise department to optimize the buying cycle.

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in garment construction, pattern making, and an understanding of the garment manufacturing process, particularly for complex designs. Knowledge of US sizes, fabrics, and technical composition of patterns is essential.

You will be expected to develop and implement processes to improve procurement strategy and meet production deadlines. Ensuring on-time fulfillment by collaborating with operations manager, suppliers, and vendors is also crucial.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing processes to improve procurement strategy
  • Ensuring on-time fulfillment by collaborating with operations manager, suppliers, and vendors
  • Monitoring supplier performance, conducting regular audits, and addressing non-compliance issues
  • Presenting regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sourcing metrics
  • Training and mentoring team members, promoting professional growth and high performance standards

The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in managing production or sourcing, a Bachelor's Diploma/Degree in Fashion Technology or Engineering in Textile Technology, exceptional understanding of garment manufacturing operations and processes, and technical knowledge of pattern and fit development.

This role requires someone who is proficient in advanced Excel and data visualization tools, digital savvy with experience in implementing new technologies and tools, and has excellent communication skills.
