**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled System Tester to join our team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, refining, and maintaining a suite of tests to ensure the highest quality of FlashBlade.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software testing and test automation, preferably within an enterprise storage product environment. Strong knowledge of file systems, file system protocols, and data replication is essential.

The role involves working closely with developers, solution architects, and product managers to define and develop optimal test coverage for FlashBlade use cases. The successful candidate will also collaborate with stakeholders to validate customer use cases and drive testing to completion.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Defining, refining, and maintaining a suite of tests to ensure the highest quality of FlashBlade.
  • Working closely with developers, solution architects, and product managers to define and develop optimal test coverage for FlashBlade use cases.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to validate customer use cases and drive testing to completion.
  • Developing automation scripts to execute system testing for new and existing features.
**Requirements:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years relevant work experience in software testing and test automation.
  • Hands-on experience in software testing and test automation, preferably within an enterprise storage product environment.
  • Strong knowledge of file systems, file system protocols, and data replication.
  • Familiarity with automation tooling like pytest.
  • Good understanding of how end customers use/deploy Storage Systems.
**Nice to Have:**
  • Experience working closely in flash storage.
  • Familiarity with application ecosystems (e.g. Netbackup, Veeam, Commvault, Vertica, Elastic Search, and Database workloads) and directory services (e.g. openldap, ad, oud etc).
  • Ability to deploy and use 3rd party IO tools such as; Load Dynamix, IOZone, fio, SpecFS, HCIBench to simulate IO test workloads as a supplement to real workloads.
  • Skilled at reviewing and collaborating on product design docs and test plans.
