The Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programs is a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless academic experience for undergraduate business students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive vision for undergraduate programs, aligning with institutional priorities and promoting continuous assessment.
- Oversee the coordination of academic advising, student services, orientation, and retention initiatives, fostering student success through effective leadership.
- Coordinate with curriculum committees, cluster heads, department chairs, and career services to drive program delivery.
- Manage a student mentoring program, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
- Lead special initiatives such as recruitment events, leveraging strong communication skills to engage stakeholders.
This role involves a 30% teaching load and 70% academic administration responsibilities within the School of Business, requiring a balance between instructional and administrative duties.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience- PhD in Management or Economics, demonstrating expertise in the field.
- 3-5 years of experience in undergraduate academic administration, showcasing leadership potential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, essential for success in this role.
