Financial Associate Role

The Financial Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy by ensuring timely and precise invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers, adhering to company standards.
  • Meet invoice delivery timelines, minimizing delays.
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites, streamlining the process.
  • Submit invoices via electronic data interchange, ensuring secure transactions.
  • Understand key areas of invoicing specific to customers, providing tailored support.
  • Verify each field on the invoice before submission, guaranteeing accuracy.
  • Ensure support and backups are in place and attached to invoices, mitigating risks.
  • Update invoice submission status in Navision, facilitating tracking.
  • Maintain invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files as reference, promoting transparency.
  • Collaborate with payroll & invoicing teams to accelerate the invoice submission process, enhancing efficiency.
  • Send statements of accounts to customers, facilitating clear communication.
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets, address billing/payment mismatches, and ensure AR hygiene, maintaining a healthy cash flow.
  • Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebill processing, resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the invoicing process, account-wise, and update them regularly, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support for invoicing platform improvement, driving innovation.
  • Assist credit control in invoicing and payment collection, supporting business growth.
