**Customer Support Representative Role Overview**

This position involves working with consumers to provide support through phone, email or instant messaging. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries and escalate more complex product-related issues to the appropriate Product Support department.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving a high volume of consumer inquiries regarding FIS products and services in a timely and effective manner.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer problems using available tools and resources to identify root causes and implement resolutions.
  • When unable to resolve issues promptly, escalate them to the relevant resource while providing coaching and mentoring to develop problem-solving skills.
  • Accurately document and track inbound support requests to ensure proper notation of customer concerns.
  • Update customer information and maintain accurate records of contact details.
  • Meet performance standards for quality, adherence to schedule and average handle time.
  • Provide guidance and/or mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements & Qualifications**

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with company products, services and business operations to enable effective customer support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Proficiency in computer navigation and operation.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
