Job Description

This role is responsible for providing customer support via phone, email or instant messaging to consumers.

  • Act as primary contact for inbound customer issues and escalate more technical product-related problems to the appropriate team.
  • Process a high volume of consumer inquiries regarding FIS products and services and resolve a target percentage of those inquiries.
  • Identify root causes of problems and utilize tools and resources effectively to determine solutions.
  • Escalate complex issues to relevant experts and provide follow-up coaching and mentoring to enhance knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and document inbound support requests and accurately note customer problems or issues.
  • Update customer information and ensure accurate entry of contact details.
  • Meet quality standards, schedule adherence, and average handle time expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of company products, services, and business operations to facilitate resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Excellent customer service skills leading to high customer satisfaction.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer navigation and operation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
