Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex customer circuits with a focus on fiber-optic network deployments.
  • Work in a multi-vendor environment managing leading network equipment vendors including Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, ADVA, Alcatel, Nokia, Infinera, and Fujitsu.
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex network technologies such as routing (BGP, MPLS, ISIS), switching (VLANs), and fiber networks (DWDM/SDH, Ethernet).
  • Conduct standard network tests and assist with fiber troubleshooting using OTDR.
  • Document all work efforts, troubleshooting steps, and repair activities accurately in ticketing systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service with clear, professional communication.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications with Ethernet and IP platforms.
  • Deep understanding of SONET, SDH, DWDM, and FTTx networks.
  • Prior experience in a Network Operations Center is highly preferred.
  • Professional certifications from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia are beneficial.
  • A proactive individual contributor who can work with minimal supervision.
