Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our valued customers.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions that meet our customer's needs. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers and partners through various communication channels
  • Configure and troubleshoot network equipment and software
  • Manage support cases from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Publish technical documentation and bulletins in our knowledge base
  • Review and revise technical documentation for training materials, marketing collateral, and other publications
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Japanese and business-level English
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, IP routing, HTTP/HTTPS, and VPN solutions
  • Able to independently debug complex networks with mixed media and protocols
  • Familiarity with firewall management systems, multi-factor authentication security systems, and virtualization platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, and Fortinet products
  • Knowledge of Windows and MAC OS, including debugging and registry editing
