Job Overview

This is a Manual Tester position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products by identifying and reporting defects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed test plans based on project specifications and requirements for manual testing.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand system architecture and design principles.
  • Create comprehensive and well-structured manual test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Identify and document test scenarios to ensure adequate coverage for software testing.
  • Execute manual test cases to verify software features and identify defects.
  • Record and document test results, comparing them to expected outcomes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle for resolution.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues during testing.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively impact existing software functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field to develop expertise in software testing.
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools to execute test cases effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey testing results and collaborate with team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
