Test Engineer

to join our dynamic team at

enter in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in
both manual and automation testing

, with a minimum of
2-5 years of experience

in the
Industrial Automation domain

. This role requires an immediate joiner who is prepared to travel to our
Bangalore office up to 25% of the time

to test, calibrate, and bring up and commission software's on Industrial Automated machines.

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing test cases, maintaining test coverage, identifying issues and ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware and software systems. You will actively participate in debugging and troubleshooting test systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

What We Are Looking for:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute detailed test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and making sure the test coverage.
  • Ability to use and understand management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA to create Bugs and Test cases
  • Conduct various levels of testing, including Regression testing, Boundary value testing, End-to-End testing, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
  • Perform hardware and software integration testing and HMI verification and testing on Industrial Automated machines.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test systems, working to identify and report hardware and software issues to the development team.
  • Participate in team meetings and discuss about testing progress and status.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing, specifically within the industrial automation sector.

Technical Skills:

  • Automation:
    Exposure with test automation tools like
    Selenium, Playwright etc
    .
  • Programming:
    Proficiency in
    Python
    ,
    Java and JavaScript
    .
  • CI/CD:
    Familiarity with CI/CD tools like
    Jenkins
    or
    GitLab
    .
  • Version Control:
    Hands-on experience with
    Git
    .
  • API Testing:
    Basic experience with
    Postman or Swagger documentation
    .
  • Performance Testing:
    Familiarity with tools like
    Apache JMeter
    or
    LoadRunner
    .

Soft Skills:

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Other Requirements:

  • Immediate joiner.
  • Willingness to travel to Bangalore up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • B.E in EEE, ECE, CSE, IT
