Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Credit Card Fraud Investigator. This position involves scrutinizing Mastercard transactions to ensure timely resolution in accordance with defined service level agreements.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Analyze and investigate fraud cases related to Mastercard transactions, ensuring prompt resolution according to established SLAs.
    • Evaluate transaction details, customer claims, and supporting documentation to verify disputes and identify suspicious activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless case resolution.
    • Detect patterns and trends in fraud and disputes to recommend process enhancements and mitigation strategies.
    • Document case outcomes thoroughly and escalate complex or high-risk issues as needed.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Minimum 1-4 years of experience in fraud management, dispute resolution, or related operational roles within the payments or banking sector
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, card schemes (preferably Mastercard), and fraud detection methodologies
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex transaction data and identify irregularities
