Procurement Specialist: We're seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our Raw Materials and Packaging Materials initiatives.

Job Overview

As Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sourcing, vendor development, and supply chain optimization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials to support our production and new product development needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop relationships with key vendors for Raw and Packaging Materials aligned with quality, cost, and service expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective procurement strategies that minimize supply risks while ensuring best value.
  • Negotiate contracts, drive cost savings initiatives, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement portfolio performance.
  • Develop and execute plans to digitize and streamline procurement processes through ERP systems and relevant tools.
  • Maintain expertise in food safety regulations, quality standards, and market trends to inform procurement decisions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Food or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
  • Able to lead procurement projects and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/NetSuite or similar).
  • Familiarity with procurement software tools is a plus.
