Technical Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Service Specialist to provide on-site technical support to customers in the Mehsana, Patan, or Palanpur areas. This role is crucial for ensuring service excellence by performing repairs, installations, and maintenance of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • On-site Service: Attend to breakdown calls, complete installations, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance at customer sites.
  • Technical Support: Provide frontline support by using your technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to resolve customer issues. You will also provide training and demonstrations of products to customers.
  • Sales & Revenue: Actively promote service contracts and consumables to meet sales targets. You will also be responsible for maintaining a strong contract retention rate and warranty conversion rate.
  • Administrative Tasks: Raise requests for parts, close transactions in Oracle, and update service reports. You will also identify potential parts and equipment requirements to generate leads for the sales team.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply critical thinking to resolve issues within defined procedures. The role requires the ability to analyze technical problems and coordinate with other departments to find solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience: A Diploma or Engineering degree in any stream. A minimum of 4+ years of field service experience is required, with a preference for candidates from the batch coding industry.
  • Language: Familiarity with and fluency in the local language, Gujarati, is essential.
  • Skills: The ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, and multitask effectively is crucial. Strong analytical and communication skills are also required.
  • Location: This is an on-site role based in the Mehsana, Patan, or Palanpur region.
