Technical Service Specialist - Equipment Installation and Repair

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team in the West zone region. This critical role involves providing on-site technical support to customers by performing equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, independent problem-solver who can manage multiple tasks and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installations: Attend to customer sites to install new equipment, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Technical Support: Provide frontline support by utilizing your technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to resolve customer issues. You will also provide training and demonstrations of products to customers.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Promote service contracts and consumables to meet sales targets, maintaining a strong contract retention rate and warranty conversion rate.
  • Administrative Tasks: Raise requests for parts, close transactions in Oracle, and update service reports. Identify potential parts and equipment requirements to generate leads for the sales team.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply critical thinking to resolve issues within defined procedures, analyzing technical problems and coordinating with other departments to find solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: A Diploma or Engineering degree in any stream is required. A minimum of 4+ years of field service experience is necessary, with a preference for candidates from the batch coding industry.
  • Language: Fluency in Gujarati is essential.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills are necessary. Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, and multitask effectively is also crucial.
  • Location: This is an on-site role based in the Mehsana, Patan, or Palanpur region.
