Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare compliant Statements of Advice (SoAs) and Records of Advice (RoAs), leveraging technical expertise and analytical skills to build complex financial models.
  • Conduct detailed legislative research and product analysis to inform strategy development and client implementation.
  • Utilize XPLAN to construct advice documents in line with ASIC and licensee standards.

Strategy Paper Development:

  • Build comprehensive financial strategy papers that clearly outline rationale, benefits, risks, and implementation approach for recommended strategies.
  • Translate complex financial scenarios into clear, client-ready written strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior advisers to refine and present strategy documentation during the advice process.

Implementation & Client Workflow:

  • Execute full pre-boarding, onboarding, and implementation of client strategies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage rollovers, contributions, investment switches, insurance applications, and other advice actions from end to end.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and providers to ensure seamless implementation tasks.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in paraplanning or technical financial advice support roles, with a strong understanding of Australian financial advice regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing detailed strategy papers and advice narratives, with advanced working knowledge of XPLAN.
  • Excellent written English and technical communication skills, with strong time management and task prioritization abilities.
  • Proven ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and deliver results at a high standard.
