Head of Shared Services

Our client, a Premier Global Creative Agency based in Delhi, is dedicated to delivering exceptional marketing solutions and committed to fostering an innovative and inclusive environment that empowers their team to excel in their craft.

The agency is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Shared Services for Finance to lead their Finance Shared Services function in Delhi. This role will be critical in managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Tax compliance, and Financial Consolidations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive finance expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing operational efficiencies within a global agency environment.

Must have: Experience of working overseas (UK and US)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute the strategy for Finance Shared Services to support the agency's objectives and growth plans.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team specializing in AP, AR, Tax, and Consolidations.
  • Accounts Payable (AP):
    • Oversee the AP function to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
    • Implement best practices for AP processes, including vendor management, payment approvals, and reconciliation.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR):
    • Manage the AR function to optimize cash flow and minimize days sales outstanding (DSO).
    • Develop and enforce credit policies, invoicing processes, and collections strategies to improve customer payments.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including VAT, GST, and corporate income tax.
    • Lead tax planning initiatives and work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Financial Consolidations:
    • Oversee the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
    • Implement and maintain financial reporting frameworks that align with global standards.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in finance operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for AP, AR, Tax, and Consolidations.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to align finance operations with business objectives.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and transparency.

Salary: ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum

Qualifications:

  • Working overseas with previous experience in the UK or USA markets
  • 10+ years of experience in finance shared services management, with a focus on AP, AR, Tax, and Consolidations.
  • Proven track record of leading finance teams and implementing best practices in financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
