Job Title: Senior Information Systems Security Specialist

The role involves ensuring the security of sensitive data and systems within a global pharmaceutical organization. The position requires a deep understanding of Veeva Vault Platform configuration settings, custom builds, and API integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement secure applications and modules using Veeva Vault Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure the quality of software following IS change control and GxP Validation process.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and standard processes for Veeva Vault Platform ecosystem.
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of software designs, code, and development processes.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and functionality by integrating with other systems and platforms.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5-7 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 7-9 years of experience.
  • 6-8 years of experience working in the global pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of information systems and network technologies.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAFe for Teams certification.
  • Experience with ETL Tools (Informatica, Databricks).
  • Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Spotfire & Power BI.
  • Solid understanding & proficiency in writing SQL queries.
