Beauty Device Innovations Leader

As a Beauty Device Innovations Leader, you will drive the development of innovative products for beauty devices and accessories. You will ensure that these products are safe, cost-efficient, and meet our design-led roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define problem statements and user requirements; align with brand, supply chain, and finance.
  • Develop concepts from EVT/DVT/PVT, manage tooling, tolerances, materials, and reliability testing.
  • Evaluate motor/heat/airflow modules, power electronics, and safety.
  • Identify and qualify OEM/ODM/component suppliers, negotiate MOQs, and build should-cost models.
  • Plan test protocols and documentation for BIS/CRS, IEC 60335 series, RoHS/REACH, EPR (e-waste), WPC (RF), and UN38.3/IEC 62133 (if batteries).
  • Partner with ID to ensure ergonomics, acoustic comfort, thermals, and serviceability; packaging fit/spec.
  • Pilot builds, line setup, SOPs, spares/after-sales, user manuals, and risk registers.
  • Track field performance, NPS/reviews, failure modes; drive rapid revs and cost/quality improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 6–10 years in hardware NPD for small appliances/consumer electronics/beauty devices.
  • Proven DFM/DFX, basic EE/ME literacy (PCBA, plastics, metals, silicone), tooling, and reliability testing.
  • Strong vendor management in India/China/Korea; hands-on with RFQs, BOMs, PPAP/FAT.
  • Familiar with Indian and global compliance pathways for consumer devices.
  • Tools: CAD (SolidWorks/Creo), basic FEA/CFD interpretation, Jira/PLM, Excel for should-costs.
