Farmwalk is seeking a highly motivated Travel Industry Sales and Marketing Expert to join our team.
Job DescriptionSales Growth and Brand Visibility
We are looking for a skilled professional to drive sales growth and brand visibility by leveraging digital and traditional marketing channels, engaging customers, and optimizing sales strategies within the travel and tourism sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans targeting both B2B and B2C travel customers.
- Generate leads through networking, digital campaigns, and partnerships with travel agencies, corporates, and influencers.
- Close sales opportunities and meet revenue targets for domestic and international travel packages.
- Maintain relationships with repeat customers to ensure loyalty and repeat bookings.
Social Media Marketing:
- Manage and grow social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to promote travel services, packages, and offers.
- Create engaging content (text, images, and videos) that aligns with the interests of travel audiences.
- Plan and execute targeted ad campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
- Use analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and optimize for better ROI.
Customer Engagement:
- Provide personalized travel consultation to clients based on their preferences and budgets.
- Conduct webinars, live sessions, or virtual tours to engage with potential customers.
- Address inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Marketing Campaigns:
- Design and run innovative marketing campaigns during peak travel seasons, festivals, and special occasions.
- Partner with hotels, airlines, and local service providers to create attractive packages.
- Identify travel trends and align campaigns to tap into the latest market demands.
Collaboration and Partnerships:
- Establish partnerships with tourism boards, travel aggregators, and local vendors.
- Collaborate with influencers and bloggers to enhance brand credibility and visibility.
- Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and events to represent the company and expand the network.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Canva).
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of travel trends, destinations, and customer behavior in India.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and campaign performance metrics.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in travel marketing, hospitality and sales within India.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and running successful marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with Indian travel seasons, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, or related fields.
- Certifications in digital marketing or travel-related programs are a plus.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
