Business Intelligence Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with data analysis, visualizations, and business intelligence platforms.

  • The successful candidate will identify problem statements that can be solved through data analysis and visualizations.
  • They will work closely with internal teams to understand these problem statements and develop solutions.
  • The analyst will extract data from relevant sources, perform data cleaning, and develop automated scripts for validation.
  • They will assess data quality, identify ways to improve it, and provide inputs to the team to enhance data collection and validation at the point of capture.
  • The Business Intelligence Analyst will showcase insights as data visualizations that drive decision-making.
  • They will build data repositories, maintain dataset integrity, and brainstorm ideas for future tools and products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in logical thinking, data analytics, quantitative analysis, and algorithm optimization.
  • Understanding of database, analytics, and application programming languages such as Python and R.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence platforms and Microsoft Excel.
