Job Title: Data Analytics Intern

As a data analytics intern, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an organization-wide data collection system. This involves ensuring information accuracy and reliability, as well as establishing standardized reporting formats.

  1. Develop and implement data collection systems to meet business needs.
  2. Collaborate with process improvement teams and departments to ensure quality data management and statistical analysis.
  3. Identify opportunities to leverage company data to enhance product and process performance.
  4. Apply advanced data mining and analysis techniques to drive quality improvements and optimize datasets.
  5. Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing data collection systems.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Establishing standardized reporting formats.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Applying advanced data analysis techniques.
Requirements:
  • 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in computer science or a related field.
  • Proficient in data analysis, data visualization, and data gathering techniques using Python.
  • Strong ability to write basic to advanced SQL queries.
  • Proficient in shell scripting and Linux.
  • Experience with REST APIs is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of various data structures and common data transformation methods.
