International Sales Development Specialist

At Polycine GmbH, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Sales Development Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to leverage their expertise in flexible packaging technology and pharmaceutical packaging under cleanroom conditions to drive business growth in the South and South East Asian market.
About UsEstablished in 2002, Polycine is a leading manufacturer of PVC-free materials for medical pharmaceutical packaging. Our company has grown significantly over the years, expanding its business areas and requiring additional support in sales. We are committed to innovation, driven by customer needs from over 40 countries worldwide.
Your Mission- Determine and expand your designated sales territory through thorough market analysis and identification of new sales potential (new customer acquisition).
- Develop and execute a strategy to develop the South and South East Asian market for Polycine.
- Promote comprehensive support and further development for existing customers, fostering strong relationships and developing opportunities within the region.
- Take ownership of preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing contracts with clients.
- Be responsible, together with partners, for the distribution of pharmaceutical specialty films and filling tubes for medical products in the region.
- Support quality assurance with complaints.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, meetings, and events to strengthen brand presence.
- Develop annual revenue forecasts and sales targets for the sales region.
- Analyze visit reports as part of regular sales activities and monitor customer orientation and satisfaction.
- A passionate and driven salesperson with strong motivation, self-initiative, and dedication to achieving measurable success.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in flexible packaging technology or expertise in flexible packaging.
- Preferably, experience with pharmaceutical packaging under cleanroom conditions.
- Negotiation skills and natural ability to persuade and achieve sales results.
- An independent work style and technical aptitude.
- Will to travel internationally, maintain active and positive relationships with clients.
- Fluent English skills essential; knowledge of other regional languages or German a plus.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for effective client interactions.
- Performance-related salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
