Job Description

As a seasoned Underwriting Analyst, you will be instrumental in locating and evaluating investment opportunities in the single-family residential real estate sector. Your expertise will be pivotal in determining accurate rent, value, and initial bid price for individual assets.

  • Utilize market comparables to underwrite each piece of property, taking into account rent, capex, HOA, property taxes, and repaired values with high accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to centrally participate in the acquisition of single-family homes, tracking the assets through various phases of the deal lifecycle.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market nuances and apply them in underwriting to drive informed decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; specialty focus in Real Estate or Finance is an asset.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in underwriting, brokerage, or other real estate-related disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external professionals.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while delivering high-quality work under tight time constraints.
  • Desire to work on a collaborative, fast-paced team.
