US Tax Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead a team and drive accurate, compliant tax reporting for annuity products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of associates to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services.
  • Oversee tax reporting for annuity transactions, including premiums, payouts, interest, and other related activities.
  • Ensure IRS compliance by managing the preparation and filing of 1099-R forms and other required documents.
  • Manage the tax treatment of death benefits and beneficiary payouts in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and support audits to maintain a strong control environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in tax reporting or financial operations, preferably in the insurance or annuity industry.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and laws.
  • Proven leadership skills in a regulated environment, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • CPA certification is preferred, but not mandatory; proficiency in Excel and tax systems is essential.
