Indirect Tax Specialist

Hiring for a senior tax advisory professional in indirect tax litigation. The incumbent will handle complex engagements related to indirect tax laws, appeals, representation before various forums, investigation handholding, and tax restructuring.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a trusted business advisor: Participate in advising clients on strategic issues and understanding client needs
- Lead role in client service delivery: Involving multi-disciplinary teams across the business unit in providing services to important accounts
- Provide perspective on global trends, emerging industry issues, and emerging practices on client assignments
- Alert clients on business environment changes that impact the client
- Create and manage strong independent relationships with clients at senior positions with minimal partner involvement
- Expand client base with new wins and conversions for the business unit
- Take a leadership role where appropriate: Create a climate of high performance in the team
- Work effectively in cross-service line engagements: Be an ambassador of the firm and project the firm's values in conduct
- Excellent Communication and Drafting Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Indirect Tax and other related laws
- Strong Analytical and researching skills
- Proactive, reliable, and with attention to detail
CA or Law Graduate from a known law school with a strong academic track record, 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax in the field of indirect tax litigation or advisory required.
