Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Title Examiner to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

This position involves conducting thorough searches of public records to determine the legal status of properties, with a focus on current owner searches and full searches. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Netronline and be proficient in analyzing title records to identify ownership, encumbrances, and any potential defects or issues that may impact property ownership or the transfer of title.

  • Conduct comprehensive searches of public records, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and other relevant documents.
  • Utilize Netronline effectively to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of title searches.
  • Analyze title records to identify ownership, encumbrances, and any potential defects or issues that may impact property ownership or the transfer of title.
  • Verify legal descriptions of properties and ensure accuracy in all title search findings.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing title search results and documenting any discrepancies or concerns.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. real estate, law, business).
  • At least 2-5 years of experience as a Title Examiner, with a focus on current owner searches and full searches.
  • Mandatory experience working with Netronline.
  • Strong understanding of real estate terminology, laws, and procedures.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
