Real Estate Finance Specialist

Affordable housing refers to rental and ownership units that are affordable to families at income levels lower than the area's median income. To develop such housing, funding is required from both public and private sources.
We are seeking a skilled finance specialist who can work with us on structuring affordable housing deals and applying for funding to various governmental sources. The funding applications will be based on MS Excel, while supporting documentation will be in MS Word and Adobe PDF.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of initiative, responsibility, diligence, and professionalism. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF.
Responsibilities include preparing MS Excel-based funding applications, monitoring and tracking documents and checklists, researching new funding opportunities, working on other aspects of the development finance process, and general support of all other initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications for this role include a graduate or postgraduate degree in business, construction management, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate or a similar field. Backgrounds in financial analysis, project/infrastructure finance, credit analysis, valuation, and balance sheet analysis are preferred.
