Job Description

As a Technical Delivery Lead at ThoughtFocus, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of large-scale application projects. You will lead a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in technologies like Java, .NET, or similar frameworks will be essential in guiding your team towards successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership:
    • Plan, execute, and deliver large-scale application development projects on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
    • Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a large cross-functional team of 100 to 200 members, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
    • Foster a collaborative work environment, driving team performance and engagement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with business leaders, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure expectations are met.
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on application development and delivery management.
  • Proven experience managing large teams in a complex, large-scale environment.
  • Hands-on experience and expertise in technologies like Java, .NET, or similar frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of application development lifecycles, tools, and frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to mitigating risks and resolving challenges.
  • Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
