Job Description:

The Internal Auditor will play a critical role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization.

  • Audit Execution: Execute robust internal audit engagements and testing and monitoring activities in line with the annual internal audit program.
  • Control Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify deficiencies or weaknesses in processes, systems, or practices.
  • Audit Planning: Prepare audit engagement plans tailored to the specific risks and objectives of each audit engagement.
  • Reporting & Communication: Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise reports for presentation to management and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit recommendations.
  • Follow-up & Resolution: Monitor and track the status of audit findings and management responses to ensure timely resolution and closure.
  • Team Support & Guidance: Provide support and guidance to colleagues within the internal audit team and across the organization on risk management and control-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Twelve months plus of progressive internal audit experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of internal audit, internal control concepts, risk management principles, and audit methodologies.
  • Communication Skill: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate audit findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
  • Digital Proficiency: Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional Integrity: Commitment to upholding professional standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
