Job Title: CPU Physical Design Specialist

As a skilled CPU Physical Design Specialist, you will play a key role in the development of high-speed cores. Your expertise in synthesis, constraints, and physical design will be invaluable in this position.

  • High speed core development – Synth, constraints, and Physical Design
  • You must have significant knowledge on high-speed cores including CPU, GPU, DDR etc
  • Experience with synthesis & Constraints is required, focusing on Performance, Power, and Area (PPA)
  • Collaboration with RTL designers for optimizations and feedback is essential
  • Knowledge of silicon margins, VT trade-off, power, and area impact is necessary
  • Floorplanning for multi-core, L2 & L3, and power planning all the way to Bumps is required
  • Critical paths, pipelining, Latency, and super buffer implementations are also crucial
  • Low power implementation knowledge is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing high-speed cores using synthesis, constraints, and physical design techniques
  • Collaborating with RTL designers to optimize designs and provide feedback
  • Developing floorplans for multi-core, L2 & L3, and power planning all the way to Bumps
  • Implementing low power techniques to minimize energy consumption

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Significant experience in high-speed core development
  • Expertise in synthesis, constraints, and physical design
  • Strong knowledge of silicon margins, VT trade-off, power, and area impact
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
