The key role of this position is to lead the team from a technical perspective and provide IT support related to application environments and interfaces on-prem and cloud. This includes diagnosis, resolution, root cause analysis of issues and identifying problem workarounds and providing support for scheduled release upgrades and deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled resource to project leads suited to delivery.
  • Manage a team of test environment engineers & middleware specialists.
  • Develop technical skills required for test environment management function.
  • Ensure service requests are appropriately actioned according to service levels and performance targets.
  • Strategically focus on operational support and continuous improvement of infrastructure estate and processes.
  • Implement automation, process efficiency, and tooling to reduce cycle times and improve reliability, audit, and traceability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience in relevant technologies or engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing projects, services, and engineering teams.
  • Cloud fundamentals qualification will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in leading teams of platform engineers and supporting complex 24x7 application environments is essential.
