Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our staffing and placement initiatives in India. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing contracts with companies that require recruitment support across the region.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and successful partnerships.
  • Sell a range of recruitment services including permanent hiring, contract staffing, RPO/project ramp-ups, and campus drives.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations that align with our pricing models and margin goals.
  • Navigate procurement processes, vendor onboarding, legal/commercial terms, and compliance requirements.
  • Nurture executive relationships and drive referrals through strategic networking and relationship-building efforts.
  • Handoff projects smoothly to our delivery teams and track key performance indicators such as fill-rate, TAT, quality of hire, and collection cycles.
  • Maintain market intelligence, win/loss analysis, and refine our go-to-market playbooks to optimize results.
  • Ensure disciplined CRM hygiene and executive-ready reporting through data-driven insights and process-oriented approach.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in closing B2B staffing/placement deals in India with a strong network in Noida/Delhi-NCR.
  • Documented quota attainment (e.g., new logos/quarter, GP/revenue delivered, win-rate).
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close MSAs/SOWs with mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Strong understanding of margins/mark-ups, billing models, RPO/MSP, and typical TA KPIs.
  • Comfort selling into IT & Non-IT roles; basic knowledge of salary bands and talent markets.
  • Excellent communication (English/Hindi), exec-presence, and C-level stakeholder management.
  • Proficient with CRM, Excel/PPT; data-driven and process-oriented.
