As a seasoned cloud platform engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain cloud-based compute offerings based on industry best practices.
- Manage subscriptions, resource groups, and resources following architecture standards.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Bicep.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Support application deployment patterns including microservices, APIs, and serverless architectures.
- Enable containerized workloads using AKS, Azure Container Apps, and ACR.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Manage cost optimization and resource governance policies in Azure.
- Integrate security best practices including RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and network security controls.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Partner with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot issues across environments and provide L2/L3 support.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements include strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, proficiency in Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates, solid scripting and automation skills, experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, and strong understanding of Azure IAM, Key Vault, Private Endpoints, and networking security.
