Senior Backend Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled software developer to design and build the backend architecture of our Bitcoin wallet, prioritizing security and usability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing low-latency APIs, designing resilient data storage systems, and implementing policy engines. Strong skills in programming languages such as TypeScript, Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin are required.

  • Develop high-performance APIs and real-time services for instant transactions, swaps, and approvals.
  • Own backend integrations and design a robust data storage system for secure money movement.
  • Implement a policy engine for approvals, limits, time locks, and joint accounts.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and observability across production systems.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience building scalable software systems.
  • Strong database expertise (Postgres, Redis) and data modeling for consistency.
  • A track record of owning systems end-to-end (from design to deployment).

Responsibilities:

  • Create low-latency API solutions for seamless user experiences.
  • Design and implement efficient data storage systems for secure transactions.
  • Develop and deploy robust policy engines for streamlined approval processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as TypeScript, Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin.
