As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, performance, and resilience of our products and processes. This involves working closely with product development teams, Cloud Automation, and other SRE teams to understand observability gaps and their effective identification and resolution.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and wants to make a meaningful contribution to our organization's success. As a key member of our SRE Observability team, you will help us achieve our reliability goals by developing automation, identifying recurring problems, and championing Cvent standards and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with product development teams to ensure effective observability and improve reliability of our products, SLDC, and Infrastructure
    • Identify and communicate potential issues before they impact our users
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis
    • Analyze complex development, automation, and business process problems to identify root causes and implement solutions
    • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse across teams
  • Automation and Improvement
    • Design, develop, and deploy automated solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors
    • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions
  • Culture and Community
    • Participate in open-source projects and contribute to the development of new technologies and tools
    • Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements:
