Senior Backend Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled senior backend developer who can independently design and deliver scalable, high-performance systems. The selected candidate will collaborate with our core team to create robust APIs, optimize infrastructure, and build real-time functionality that powers a platform used by hundreds of thousands of gamers.

This is an ownership-driven role where the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. They will also develop and optimize real-time communication systems leveraging Redis, WebSockets (Socket.io), and scalable database architectures.

  • Design and build robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Develop and optimize real-time communication systems leveraging Redis, WebSockets (Socket.io), and scalable database architectures.
  • Implement caching strategies, performance tuning, and scaling solutions for high-traffic environments.
  • Architect APIs and services that integrate seamlessly with our frontend and mobile clients.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, with strong documentation for long-term scalability.
  • Ensure system reliability, fault tolerance, and high availability in production environments.
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL/MySQL with proven ability in query optimization.
  • Practical expertise with Redis for caching, messaging, and WebSocket-based communication.
  • Solid understanding of scalable system design, asynchronous processing, and distributed architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps practices is a plus.
