Cloud Architect – Platform Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled cloud architect to design, implement, and manage our SCM suite and DevOps platform. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, security, and identity management with strong architecture and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, integrate, and manage SCM tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible) to streamline development processes and ensure seamless collaboration among teams.
  • Standardize and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support multiple applications and teams, promoting efficiency and reliability.
  • Build and maintain a highly available platform, ensuring 24/7 uptime and no downtime during core business hours by leveraging best practices in scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization frameworks to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the business.
  • Design and implement a disaster recovery strategy with a 1-hour RTO, ensuring minimal data loss and rapid recovery in case of unexpected events.
  • Automate backup and restoration processes to guarantee 100% data recovery and minimize downtime.
  • Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) across systems and pipelines, enforcing strict security protocols and minimizing the risk of unauthorized access.
  • Enforce data encryption standards (data at rest, in transit, cryptographic key management) to safeguard sensitive information and protect against data breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and industry security standards by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Integrate Okta SSO and implement OAuth/SAML-based authentication, providing secure and seamless access to authorized users.
  • Manage secure authentication and authorization for developers, admins, and service accounts, ensuring strict access controls and minimizing the risk of unauthorized access.
  • Partner with Dev, Infra, and Security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, promoting collaboration and fostering a culture of shared responsibility.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to DevOps and platform engineers, empowering them to excel in their roles and drive innovation within the organization.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering, with a proven track record of success in designing and implementing large-scale cloud architectures.
  • Strong expertise with Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, and other CI/CD tools, as well as hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for HA, DR, and backup solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of IAM protocols (OAuth, SAML, SSO) and Okta, with a strong understanding of RBAC, data encryption, and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, architecture design, and stakeholder management skills, with a passion for leading complex projects and driving innovation in the field of DevOps and platform engineering.
