About the Role

The Senior Cloud Architect will be responsible for leading the development of a global infrastructure and cloud landscape strategy.

  • Design, develop, and govern large-scale infrastructure and cloud deployments across geographies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive architectural discipline and governance.
  • Align technology roadmaps with business needs and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Architecture Strategy & Blueprinting
    1. Create and maintain a global infrastructure and cloud architecture blueprint.
    2. Define architecture principles, standards, and reference models.
    3. Promote platform rationalization and simplification initiatives.
  2. Solution Design & Project Enablement
    1. Develop infrastructure solutions for large programs (e.g., DC transformation, AD consolidation, hybrid cloud migration).
    2. Review and approve high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), and bill of materials (BoM) submitted by partners or internal teams.
    3. Evaluate emerging technologies such as Zero Trust, SD-WAN, SASE, Edge Computing, and Infra-as-Code.
  3. Technology Evaluation & Adoption
    1. Evaluate and recommend cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid models.
    2. Guide the onboarding of new technologies.
  4. Collaboration & Knowledge Enablement
    1. Partner with delivery, cybersecurity, and service teams to translate designs into build/run.
    2. Coach engineering teams and upskill delivery units on architectural best practices.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with 5+ years in an architecture role.
  • Proven track record of designing and governing large-scale infrastructure/cloud deployments.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Architect).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Network/Security certifications (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
