Sales Leadership Director

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as **Sales Leadership Director**. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and building a high-performing sales team.
**Responsibilities:**
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with NxtWave's growth plans, focusing on revenue generation, market expansion, and competitive positioning.
- Revenue Growth: Spearhead the sales team to consistently meet and surpass revenue goals, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behavior, adapting sales strategies to ensure NxtWave's continued market leadership.
- Customer Engagement: Design and implement innovative customer acquisition and retention strategies, building strong relationships with key clients.
- Leadership: Establish clear goals and KPIs for the sales team, regularly assessing performance and providing strategic guidance.
- Team Development: Lead, inspire, and develop a world-class sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Champion cost-efficient sales initiatives, ensuring maximum return on investment without compromising on quality.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree: Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role within the edtech or a related industry.
- Revenue Growth: Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive, fast-paced market.
- Indian Edtech Landscape: In-depth knowledge of the Indian edtech landscape, including market trends, customer preferences, and competitive strategies.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Tactical Execution: Ability to blend strategic vision with tactical execution, leading by example and driving results.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Frugal mindset with a focus on resource optimization and efficiency.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Purpose: Passion for education and a deep commitment to NxtWave's mission to empower students across India.
**Estimated Salary:** ₹20-25 lakhs per annum (dependent on experience)
