Project Manager GIS Substation

As a Project Manager for GIS Substation, you will be responsible for taking ownership of GIS Projects and leading their execution. This includes managing the project lifecycle from inception to delivery, ensuring timely completion, and meeting customer requirements.

  • The role requires active involvement in understanding GIS Single Line Diagrams, Plan and Section views for GIS Projects. You will also coordinate with customers, internal factory functional teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • You will analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Project Managers are empowered to take ownership and responsibility for achieving project objectives, including profitability, time, and quality targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (B.E / B.Tech)
  • 2-8 years of experience in Project Execution, Project Management, Tendering, and Engineering for AIS/GIS Substations
  • Analytical skills, teamwork, and ability to communicate concepts/problems/requirements to provide solutions based on the domain
  • Knowledge of High Voltage GIS products, customer specifications, and export projects
  • Hands-on experience in software-based ERP tools like SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Projects, Primavera)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a valid passport for job-specific travels
