Job Title: Operations DirectorAbout the Role:

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and manage all operational aspects of the port and terminal.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet targets and deadlines
  • Managing vessel berthing and un-berthing timelines to achieve optimal productivity levels
  • Coordinating shifts according to the terminal's requirements, taking into account labor availability and maximizing equipment utilization

To perform this role effectively, the successful candidate will be responsible for allocating job responsibilities, liaising with various departments, including maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and addressing any emergency situations that may arise.

This position also involves collaborating with rostering staff to determine labor needs, implementing strategies to optimize productivity, and ensuring high reliability of service to customers. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail to maintain quality standards.
